🌿 3 Steps to Create Your Botanical Jewelry

Supplies: Embossed board, cushioning sponge, pad paper, absorbent board, thumb screws

Step 1｜Harvest with Intention
▸ Pick petals at dawn (daisies/pansies recommended)
▸ Trim stems to 3mm, preserve natural curves

Step 2｜Antique Pressing

❶ Stack in the order of embossed board → cushion sponge → absorbent board → pad paper → flower material → pad paper → absorbent board → cushion sponge → pad paper → flower material → pad paper → absorbent board → cushion sponge → embossed board

❷ Tighten screws until "fingertips tremble slightly" (~0.5kg pressure)

❸ Air-dry 3-5 days—no peeking! (Different flower materials have different drying times. Ordinary flowers and plant specimens take 1-2 days; fruit pressed specimens take 2-3 days; multi-headed rose specimens take 3-5 days. )

Step 3｜Artistic Setting

Use tweezers to separate the dried flowers from the material and place them into your creation.

The absorbent board can be reused

Microwave oven: Adjust the medium heat for about 2 minutes. After baking, cool it down and observe the hardness change of the absorbent board. If it is not hard, bake it for another 1 minute. After cooling, observe the hardness and use it again.

Oven: Adjust to about 160 degrees for about 5 minutes. Do not bake it in an overlapping manner. After baking, cool it down and observe the hardness of the absorbent board. If it is not hard, bake it for another 3 minutes. After cooling, observe the hardness and use it again.

Note:

1: Each microwave oven has different performance. Observe more when drying and adjust it in time.

2: The absorbent board is made of special materials and cannot be dried directly in the sun. If there is no microwave oven, you can use a simple oven made of cardboard and a hair dryer, or an electric iron, a small sun for baking, etc.

Warm Tips: All materials can be reused without human damage.

[Special Note] The absorbent board in the material has super water absorption and needs to be stored in a moisture-proof and sealed manner. After unpacking, please put it in a sealed bag immediately and do not expose it to the air for a long time to absorb moisture! The absorbent board will absorb moisture from the plant after each pressing. It needs to be dried in an oven/microwave/dryer before the second embossing! (It cannot be dried in the sun, and the more it is exposed to the sun, the more damp it will be!)
